Peter Rippl is a visual artist based in Frankfurt am Main. Since 1999 he has been producing and directing documentaries.
In 2015, Denis created the festival "Films & Companies", a festival co-produced with Hopscotch Group and dedicated to digital video creations, renamed in 2018 the "Videoshare Festival" of which he holds the position of president.
After 4 years in Montreal where he finished his studies in audiovisual communication, he travels most of the South American countries as a great reporter. Back in France in 1990, he worked as a writer-director in the field of corporate film, reportage, documentary and magazine for television.
He then made several assignments for "Canal France International" as an expert director, to train the production teams of the national channels of several West African countries. He is also currently working on a historical documentary-fiction for 2019.

The documentary "Toolmaker" as the best documentary in Poland, and "A man called Brian" as the best documentary and best director in Iran. His long length 35 mm movie "Noora" has been sold to more than 40 countries for broadcasting in TV channels all over the world, and has been the "Official Selection" in many film festivals and has gotten several awards including Best Film at the "49th Taormina International Film Festival", Italy in June 2003. He also got Best Film for "The Prisoner" at the "Hollywood Cinerockom International Film Festival", USA, LA, CA, 2013.
